Freedom of the Open Road

"Life is a highway, and I want to ride it all night long."

-Tom Cochrane

Sometimes the best adventures are the ones without plans, schedules or destinations.

Sometimes you just have to take off and go.

Take it in, savor every moment and relax in the present.

There is something special about being surrounded by nature's glory, all the while listening to music or hearing the wind howl throughout the windows.

Freedom, solitude, exploration and an array of feelings & emotions are all part of the open road, and this is something I wish to indulge in regularly.

I believe I am destined to travel, explore and capture the beauty of this life in as many aspects as possible.  I truly enjoy being on the road, with no limits or restrictions as I let nature guide me where it so chooses.

It's not always about the destination, but the journey along the way.

I took my longest road trip adventure in November 2020, going through the Southwestern region of the U.S. for about 5 days.

I had a vehicle that was large enough to put an air mattress in the back of, I was equipped with a portable heater, food, and everything else I would need to get by.

During this trip, I realized I truly felt content and satisfied with this lifestyle and needed to work towards having the ability to do it at any given moment.

I got back on track with my Alaska planning and even though there were still a lot of unknowns, I knew I had to take that leap of faith yet again.

This is why it is so important to always answer your callings!
