Argentina

The world’s eighth largest country, Argentina occupies an area more extensive than Mexico and the state of Texas combined.

It encompasses immense plains, tundra, deserts, and forests as well as tall mountains, rivers, and thousands of miles of ocean shoreline.

USHUAIA

Personally, I refer to this location as "Spanish Alaska" since its landscape resembles much of the Last Frontier, yet the predominant language spoken is Spanish.

Ushuaia also makes the claim of being the southernmost city, being referred to as the "end of the world."

A much smaller municipality of less than 3,000 people, Puerto Williams, Chile officially takes this title.
